The memory is on-board. Hence, you may not be able to upgrade post-purchase without changing the system board. And the maximum memory available online is with 16GB.
“Deb” is wrong. 32Gb WILL be available at some point, apparently quarter 2, 2020; from April’ish. Look at the product specification document in the documents and manuals area.

No, the memory is soldered to the motherboard according to the documentation. They do state they are offering a XPS13 with 32GB RAM, but I have no idea when that will be available.
You might want to take a look a the 2-in-1 that has an option for 32gb ram. I got it last Christmas and it is great.

Unless you’re storing a lot of videos 512GB is plenty. Most stuff remains in the cloud and you can backup to an external drive when needed. No need for 2TB otherwise.
Is the screen on the XPS 13 9300 a matte format or shiny glass?
It says it has something like a .65 glare-resistant coating, but in video reviews it doesn’t appear as matte as the previous versions.
The FHD+ and UHD+ screens are glossy, while the FHD+ non-touch has an anti-glare layer.
Can I purchase Dell XPS 13 9300 laptop with a Linux distro installed. e.g Ubuntu
No, it is available with Windows 10 Home, 64-bit, English or Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, English. However, it is tested with Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS and you can set it up yourself post-purchase.

I may be missing something, but the new XPS 13 (2020) seems to come in two colours and I can’t find a way to select the black version. All configurations end up as silver. Any ideas on what I’m missing?
