One very frustrating experience
I could not figure out why my Internet speed was slower than a snail’s pace so I finally googled, “new Dell computer, slow Internet.” It seems that Dell includes a software program called, “Smartbyte” and it defaults to being turned on. As soon as I found the app and turned it off my Internet speed was normal.

Good value but I wished for a better keyboard
Overall this was quite a good deal for a 15.6″ FHD, Intel i7 CPU, 16GB memory and 512GB SSD. What I like: (a) Fast (once you get past the initial setup and the BIOS upgrade). (b) Screen is nice and sound quality is good, (c) The support software is sleek. What I like much less: the keyboard, although it’s nicely backlit, has a numeric keypad which is useless and means that the main keyboard is not centered.

brand new pc is very slow
brand new pc, after initial setup, only downloaded and installed Chrome, no additional software other than what came with the PC. When trying to type something, either in browser or Microsoft office products, the speed is extremely slow, have to wait for every single character. The speed of typing is ridiculous, I am seriously thinking to return this PC.

Heating issue
Been using for almost 1 week, have felt a bit of a troubles on the first day as it glitches itself. so restarted few times by now. heating is very severe after browsing for a while , don’t know about gaming capabilities if heating would be a threat or not. so far no other issues have been faced. everything runs pretty smooth and normal. if to rise a issue , heating would be the only one .

Dell Quality Cannot Be Surpassed!
After trying to “get by” by purchasing laptops off the shelf at big box stores, I realized it just wasn’t worth it. Those lesser laptops just didn’t hold up and I found myself without reliable equipment. Went bac!k to the Dell website and ordered exactly what I needed. the system is all good tho very fast at processing but the design is not that good the connector of the main body and monitor are weak and remove the stand so it can increase its max open angle. Make the connectors like longer and made out of maybe aluminum so it wont break when you gotta open it

Very narrow screen border = very comfortable to carry even after being a 15.6″ screen laptop. Not that heavy. Easy to carry, fun to use, good screen, good speed. If you can afford, don’t hesitate to buy 12gb or 16gb RAM variation. 8gb RM also fine but make sure not to overload by installing apps that you really don’t need.

This is my First time using a dell laptop. After taking so many suggestions and making a belief on dell that this laptop not gonna update. So I am having the worst experience buying this dell laptop. because of not having the good processing speed and so much hanging problem am facing. First I thought this is because of new laptop as it takes time to update. And even after doing all the updates it is still taking time to configure the drivers even after installing all the updates. I don’t know what is the problem coming. What is stopping this pc to work on its full efficiency. Even I tried using it on best performance mode. But still there is no difference in that feature also. So all of the review are. That I am facing the worst experience with the laptop even its brand new but not upto the mark performance

Dell Alienware M15 R6 is specs and performance wise a Great system.

Saw this unit on sale over Labor Day and bought it. I love it. It is fast to load and performs great. I had an issue initially getting it to connect with my wi-fi, but I had a great session with Support Assist (included with the system), they helped me manually download driver upgrades and this thing is humming along perfectly. I would’ve bought this system anyway, but the sale made it a no-brainer. This is the 3rd Dell I’ve owned, they make a good product and the support is there as well. Absolutely satisfied with my purchase.
