    Disappointed
Why does this brand new laptop immediately need an upgrade to Windows Pro to work from home remotely? Dell sold a lot of these knowing people were buying to work remotely due to Covid-19. Pretty disappointed as a long time Dell customer…

    Computer problems
When I received my new computer, I was very excited and open the packaged, plugged it in and turned it on. The first window that popup was a error message and the computer was running a diagnostic. I have had to call twice. First the computer would shut down for no reason and it would freeze when edge was open. Ok the tech ran some diagnostic and installed drivers that were no were to be found when I was on the site. I had to call again and the fellow ran the same diagnostic that the first tech did but still it is not working right. When I close the lid without shutting the computer down, I have to hold the start button for 15 seconds to get it to turn back on. When switching from Tablet mode to Laptop it stays in tablet mode and affects my ability to access my desktop. I have to reboot to get it out of tablet mode.

    terrible build quality
i bought my first one of these laptops about 5 months ago and after about a day of having it i was browsing the web and the battery failed. then school started and i had to wait a month before i got my second one. then after having this current computer for about 3 months of having it the OS crashed and i had to re-download windows. then withing the last week the screen has began coming off on the lower right side. now when i first got the computer i noticed the hinges were a little loose but because it was a 2 in 1 i thought it was fine but after a few months they began to degrade and now the screen bends like crazy when ever i open it. and because it does that the screen has started coming off. it bends and now i have to go get it repaired. its very disappointing that the screen has failed this quickly. keep in mind i have never damaged this computer and i have treated it as my baby. after this computer i can safely say that i will never buy a dell 2 in 1 again.

I am facing the exact same issue now, my right side screen started coming off, my right side hinge has also become loose, Can you please let me know about how you have solved your issue?

My daughter`s one had the same problem. we called dell and they refused to repair it. My daughter is extremely cautious with her laptop. I`m really disappointed. I would like to talk to a lawyer because it`s not fear. We got back in December. If we could do it in a group it will be awesome.

    Great laptop
Fantastic laptop performance. I’m an amateur photographer and I needed a faster computer for my photo editing software. My old iMac computer wasn’t doing the job and I couldn’t afford a MacBook. I’m very pleased with the Dell Inspiron 5591 2n1 with the Corei7 processor.

I had this laptop for about 2 weeks now and so far I’ve been quite impressed, its extremely quick to start up, the keyboard and trackpad are excellent, and the touch screen is an amazing addition. The different modes are extremely useful for me as a student to switch between watching a movie to taking notes to surfing the web

    Concerned with Heat Production
I’ve had the computer about a week. The computer is working great so far, but I have two concerns. 1. From the first day, there is a lot of heat coming from the bottom of the laptop. 2. The battery drains fairly fast. I was expecting more battery life before I have to plug the computer in again.

Love my new 2n1! display crisp – my friend says the Skype is much improved, likely the camera. I’m not even as disappointed in the lack of the number keys on the right as I expected to be. Also love that it came in more than a week early!

Nice, but locks up often, one of other problems.
Having problems with it locking up, does it often. 2 days ago it locked up for an entire day, had to let the battery die before I could get it turn off and reboot. Can not get my Epson printer hooked up.

    Not a bad 2n1.
So far this is a good laptop. I’ve only had it for a week but it set up quickly, and I’ve gotten used to it quickly. I do have a smaller, older 2n1 that I’ve liked, so I wanted something a bit more power and this is pretty fast so far for everyday stuff, or even my design work as well. The tablet mode is pretty nice, but a bit stiff to get opened all the way around. My previous laptop had a side volume button, but this does not so it’s harder to quickly change volume levels. Also this laptop’s SD card reader doesn’t allow the SD card to be completely inserted. My previous one did, which makes it odd that a larger one does not. So if you’ve got an SD card inserted, it sticks out half way. The fingerprint reader is pretty fast, so that’s a huge plus. And the SSD is fast, and the ability to upgrade to 32GB of RAM is awesome! Hopefully it’ll be easy enough to open this up and add another chunk of memory at some point. So overall it’s a good laptop so far! Hopefully I’ll get a few years out of this like I did with my previous Inspiron.

    No Numeric Keyboard
I would expect Numeric keyboard for a 15.6 inch 2 in 1 laptop. The lid is too heavy so it doesn’t stay open when the angle is less than approx. 30 degrees. I could find images about the keyboard on the Dell website. If I could, I would buy 7000 series instead of this. Would Dell exchange with me with no cost?

    5591 2 in 1 laptop
This pc is the f/p product. After 1 week’s usage, I can easily say that very fast wifi adaptor, hi-speed SSD, and usb3 connections are really efficient. If you are not a gamer, this pc can overcome all your challenges. I gave 4 because like most of the IPS screens it is more likely to have light leakage problems. I can see some light leakage on the black background, but it is not gaming monitor so it is usual.

I had to replace my old Dell Inspiron 15 when the fan gave out. Because of the Coronavirus, I could not invite my computer guy in to hook things up. I finally did it myself, and the walk-through as I went made to activation really very simple!

    Registration
Since I got my laptop I’ve been tryin to register it, The Dell page where you should type your information allows you to fill everything but when you are done fill in in all the information the “ALL DONE” box does not lit up therefore you cannot advance to the next page, the only live option is “REMIND ME LATER” then a week later the reminder comes up but same options Remind me later,, it is very upsetting but there is nothing you can do except to call DELL and waste time when you shouldn’t have to. For that reason it is the lowest rating the only thing I can assign to my laptop

Dell Inspiron 5591 In The Nutshell
Choosing the right laptop was an overwhelmed decision. I wouldn’t have ever presumed, that potentially easy choice will turn out to be so tough. Eventually, I’ve chosen Dell Inspiron 15, which later would be the best choice, ever. Let’s get into the laptop itself. Beginning with design – laptop looks amazing, inside out. Despite it has Intel UHD Graphics, which – according to the forums and blogs – was not the best, but not the worst graphic card as well, the display is fantastic in my opinion. Especially it can be easily seen with the hd wallpapers. Processor is not necessary to be described – Intel i5 10th GEN, says all for itself. There are of course speakers. They are pretty decent, but they are not the best. Sometimes, during playing songs with high notes and beats, you can hear some crashes within the sound, but it’s not something that would tout you off buying this computer. All in all, I am surprisingly impressed by this laptop. For such a price, it is – for me – the best choice to make. But what is the most important fact for me, is that you can put additional 24 GB RAM into it, what makes your laptop serves you even more, than few years. Everyone who are looking around for a decent laptop for college or business or just home-usage, should take Dell Inspiron into consideration. It is definitely worth every money.

  16. Great Service... an excellent machine said:

I have the dell inspiron x360 5591 for a couple of weeks now… everything is working perfectly of course. The quality of the touch screen is super. Everything work better and better… the set up was really easy with Windows 10… It’s just a terrific computer. But the best part is the the Service. Being a Premium Support customer is a huge advantage… it’s like having a full service IT department in my home office… they are good and they are courteous! I highly recommend this 2 in 1 laptop… and definitely take the 4 year full service package with it! FOR SURE!!!

It’s fast and stable with excellent battery life. Having multiple programs and web sites open don’t phase it. I’m using dell inspiron 5591 x360 laptop for personal use but it would work great for business use also. The only downside so far is the touchpad, it’s way too sensitive with no way to adjust it. To keep my sanity I’m using a wireless mouse with it. Overall is a very nice, very affordable laptop.

It’s bland, thick, heavy and unexciting. It mostly works, except the “blue screen of death” on every other start. But it’s cheap, so hey-ho
